American Home Water offers a no-salt system available for installation. This system only filters and purifies the water; it does not soften water. To better understand why this is, read about our no-salt option.
- The Activated Carbon is composed of coconut shells that are specifically processed to remove chlorine as well as over 100 other organic chemicals that are potentially found in your water supply.
- The KDF55 (Redox) prevents bacteria growth as well as remove chlorine, inorganic compounds and toxic metals.
- The Microprocessor Controlled Demand recharge recharges the filter as needed and assures you will always have filtered water.
- The 1" Up-flow Backwash Control System saves up to 50% more water than any other conventional system, has wear & tear reduction on filter media, and minimizes wasted water via accurate rinse cycles.
